St. Mikulas church, a cultural heritage protected by the state, is the oldest church in the Giant Mountains region. It was probably founded by a member of the Vartenberk ancestry. Originally made of wood it was burned down during the Hussite's as well as the vicarage. In 1577 the vicarage was restored and the church was rebuild as a stone church. It was not very big, so in 1600 Jiri Sipar Zasmucky build a additional presbyterium. The 40.3 m stone tower, was built in 1700. The St. Mikulas memorial bell (1800kg) from the year 1577 was mounted later on. In 1740 the church received a baroque chapel. Inside is a cross with a mother-of -pearl inlay from the 17th century, two side altars of St. Anne and St. John and the wooden main altar with the picture of St.Mikulas.
