Memorial of J. A. Komensky

This memorial was founded in September 1957 in the castle in memory of the short residency of J.A. Komensky in Horni Branna before his exhile. Memorial bronze base from academical sculptor Karel Pesata from Jablonec nad Jizerou was placed in the forefront of the castle. The memorial is frequently visited by educators, local and foreign visitors.

Since 1999 has been one room dedicated to writer, painter, teacher Josef Sira who was born in Horni Branna in 1859.
